LaRue Wesley Jones, Jr. is a member of the Co-founding team of NTS and is the Southwest Regional Manager for NTS. Mr. Jones virtually grew up in the construction industry with his father teaching him to operate highway construction machinery before he could drive a vehicle. Prior to joining NTS, Mr. Jones was the Central Regional Manager for Dragon Products where he had sales responsibility for 13 states and day-to-day management responsibility for the company’s 120,000 square foot Indiana based manufacturing facility. Prior to Dragon, Mr. Jones spent more than 21 years within the trench shoring business with The Plank Company and its successor, NES Trench Shoring (“NESTS”) and its successor United Rentals Trench Safety. Mr. Jones is one of the industry most recognized leaders and his industry involvement has included serving as V.P. of the San Antonio Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), President of San Antonio Area Construction Associated Equipment Dealers Association (AED) and member of Statewide Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Texas Safety & Health Committee. Mr. Jones earned a B.B.A. from East Texas State University (now A&M Commerce) and has completed numerous industry specific courses such as ATTSA Traffic Control Supervisor, AED Management Development Institute – Texas A&M University and Speed Shore Corp. - Competent Person and Train the Trainer courses.
