Matthew (Matt) Martin is a member of the co-founding team of National Trench Safety, LLC and Branch Manager of the Beaumont, Texas location. Mr. Martin has spent his entire business career in the construction and equipment industry. After graduating from High School, Mr. Martin went to work for Furlow Construction Services as a heavy equipment operator and was quickly promoted to crew foreman. Prior to joining NTS, Mr. Martin worked as an outside sales representative for The Plank Company and its successors, NES Trench Shoring and United Rentals Trench Safety. While with United Trench Safety, he was promoted to the position of Branch Manager for their Beaumont, Texas operation.
In 2004 Mr. Martin was elected to a four year term as Commissioner of Liberty County Flood Control and Drainage District # 4. Mr. Martin also currently serves on the Board of Suppliers and Associates for The Associated Builders and Contractors Association of Southeast Texas. Matt has also completed many industry specific product and application training programs as well as Competent Person and Technical Sales Classes.
