Thomas H. Hartman is part of the Co-founding team of NTS and is the Western Regional Manager for NTS. Mr. Hartman has over 25 years of experience in the equipment rental industry. Prior to joining NTS, Mr. Hartman was the Western Regional Manager for Dragon Products where he had sales responsibility for 11 states and day-to-day management responsibility for the company’s 150,000 square foot west coast manufacturing facility. Prior to Dragon, Mr. Hartman spent 18 years with NES Trench Shoring (“NESTS”) and its predecessor, The Plank Company (“Plank”) in various senior positions. His position at the time of his departure from NESTS was Western Regional Manager. He held this position for over 6 years. While he was the Western Regional Manager at NES/Plank he was responsible for 13 branch operations in California, Oregon and Washington. Regional revenue was approximately $18 million with a headcount of 88 employees. He had full budget and P&L responsibilities for the region and prepared individual and consolidated budgets for the branches and region. From July of 1999 to July of 2002, Mr. Hartman was responsible for the opening of five “green-field” start-up branches, the re-location of three existing branches and creating and operating an independent fabrication and repair facility. Prior to joining Plank, Mr. Hartman worked for Gaedecke Equipment Company, a large equipment dealer/rental company in the Southwest. Mr. Hartman was also a District Manger for Home-lite, construction equipment division. Mr. Hartman attended The University of Texas at Austin; The University of Texas at San Antonio, and has completed numerous industry specific courses such as ATTSA Traffic Control Supervisor, AED Management Development Institute – Texas A&M University and Speed Shore Corp.- Competent Person and Train the Trainer courses.
