National Trench Safety (NTS) is one of the fastest growing construction equipment
rental companies in the country. NTS is currently looking for the right individual
to join our Austin Texas outside sales team
The successful candidate will have a positive mental attitude, love working with
construction contractors, wants to be "in the field" and not wearing a suit and
tie every day, and most importantly, the successful candidate will have a passion
for being the best at what they do and be money motivated. NTS will train you on
our products and services and will supply you with all the support, tools, equipment
and information you will need to be successful. To be considered for this exciting
position however, you must supply the attitude, desire and commitment.
Duties:
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning
and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers and
builds strong interpersonal relationships with key customer contacts.
- Adjusts daily schedule to assure customer needs and demands are being met.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential project bid and award data
bases.
- Works with customer and NTS inside sales support team to assure all orders are delivered
timely and are correct to customer specifications.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily
call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products,
marketing programs, delivery schedules, techniques, etc.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing
reports; making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating
in industry trade associations.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
