Pipe Lasers are predominately used in the underground Utility Industry by Utility Contractors, General Contractors, and Municipalities to assure the proper grade is achieved for the installation of Storm Drainage systems, Sewer Pipe installations, Water Line installations and the installation of Lift Stations and Manhole placements. Rotating Lasers are used to provide a desired slope or elevation and are used on various projects typically performed by General Contractors, Highway Construction contractors, Municipalities, and Utility Contractors. NTS has a large fleet of Rotating Lasers that it Rents and Sells. NTS also has a large and modern in-house repair facility where it repairs and calibrates virtually all brands of Rotating Lasers.

A laser “Machine Control System” consists of two primary components: a rotating laser which transmits a laser beam with the desired inclination; and a laser detector which is mounted on the grader or dozer performing the work. Once the rotation laser is set up with the desired slope, the machine detector indicates to the machine operator when the machine is “On-Grade”. NTS sells, installs and repairs all major brands of Machine Control Laser Systems.

AUTO LEVELS provide a high degree of control for leveling and monitoring applications. They are ideal for jobsite elevation control as well as bringing in elevations from a remote location to the jobsite. They can also be used to monitor built in place structures to measure small elevation changes over time.

THEODOLITES are Digital Transit devices used for Horizontal and Vertical angle measurement, using a digital display. NTS rents, sells and repairs Theodolites and has a large inventory of parts and wear items to support your needs.
