Rental units are available in single and multi-sizes models ranging from 2” through 96” with larger and specialized custom built units (with job specific options) also available upon request. Plugs for leak detection, minimal flow thru, high volume by-pass work, line air test, continuous flow-thru, mechanical and general plumbing are available on a 24/7 basis from your local NTS location.

NTS sells and rents a complete line of portable, Hi-Flow air test control panels, with 25’, 50’and 500’ triple test hoses. NTS also carries a large inventory of line acceptance kits, manhole cable guides and line pull cable hand winches. All are readily available for rental or purchase to help make your pipe testing work go faster and more efficiently.

NTS rents and sells a full line of hydro test pumps which are designed for pressure testing water lines and sewer force mains as prescribed by “AWWA Standard C605, Installation of PVC Pressure Pipe” and “C600 Installation of Ductile-Iron Water Mains”. NTS rents and sells the following models of test pumps: twin diaphragm pumps, four diaphragm pumps and piston pumps.

NTS carries a full line of Pipe Joint Testing equipment available for rent or sale. Pipe Joint Testers are used for fast, safe (and easy to use), five-second tests, which typically determines joint integrity. Our Cherne and Lansas joint testers are designed to test large-diameter RCP up to 120” as described in “ASTM C1103”. Ready to test with either water or air, the joint tester allows you to pre-test before the backfilling operation begins and is available in both low and high pressure models.

NTS rents and sells a full line of manhole vacuum testers. Vacuum air manhole testers provide the most efficient, accurate and cost effective method of testing new, existing and rehabilitated manholes per “ASTM C1244”. Vacuum testing identifies infiltration and ex-filtration problems by creating a vacuum in the manhole and then monitoring for vacuum loss. This process is less expensive and much faster than water testing. Bladder style testers seal the inside diameter of the manhole cone. The flat plate style tester is designed to seal the manhole cone top surface. The vacuum generator style converts a standard air compressor into a vacuum source.

Pipe deflection gauges are used to test sewer pipe for out-of-roundness or deflection. The use of these gauges helps ensure that flexible pipe has been properly bedded and backfilled. NTS offers mandrels in single and multi-size kits from 4” thru 24” made from steel or aluminum for SDR 35 or SDR 26 pipe thicknesses.

NTS rents and sells smoke blower testers and accessories. Smoke blower testers effectively identify leaks in pipes through the use of a manhole fan blower powered with a Honda or Briggs & Stratton gasoline engine. The system utilizes either traditional smoke cartridges and or the bio-degradable liquid smoke product, which is available upon request.
