Horizontal Waler Systems are designed for less stable soil conditions such as Soil Types C-60 and C-80 requiring tight or intermittent sheeting. Lightweight aluminum alloy construction allows for quick installation and removal from above the trench.

Waler systems are designed to provide protection and system flexibility needed to work around crossing utilities and repair points in addition to production trenching. Waler system standard duty and heavy duty rails are commonly available in lengths of 8’, 10’ and 16’. Common hydraulic cylinder working widths range from 17” to 144”.

End loading capability of steel tube encased cylinders may allow for optional 3 sided or 4 sided enclosure and trench wall cave-in prevention.
